Fit : The overall fit of the MSR women’s gear is great. There is plenty of room to pull the jersey on and off without squishing your head. The ends of the sleeves on the jersey fit just right as well. In other women’s gear that I have worn the neck is tight and the ends of the sleeves are too tight as well. Also, the jersey isn’t too long or too short, it’s a perfect length where you can tuck it in and it won’t come out or you can wear it out and it won’t be too long.

The pants fit really well, although they do ride a little higher than I like, the only time I notice it is when I’m not riding. That could probably be remedied with a larger size. Now that I wear Asterisk knee braces, I was afraid the pants would be too tight over the braces. But, they’re not. The pants fit over the braces with room to spare. As far as gloves go, I probably could have used a medium. The fingers are really narrow in a small. I wore the gloves twice in one week and ended up with blisters. The length of the gloves is just right. All in all for fit I give the MSR RG2X Women’s gear an 8 out of 10.

Quality : The overall quality of the MSR Women’s gear is very good. The jersey could be better; after wearing the it once it had pulls in it from my Camelback and my chest protector. Other jerseys I have worn have not had that problem. However, I have washed and dried the jersey and the pulls did not get worse. The pants are very high quality. These pants are the first women’s pants I have seen with reinforcement on the insides of the legs. I burned the inside of the right leg already but it only burned the plastic part on the pants, not the reinforced material. The gloves are holding up really well too considering they’re a little too small for me. They’re stretching out a bit, but still feel too small. Overall for quality I give the MSR RG2X Women’s gear an 8 out of 10.

Color : I really enjoy the fact that you can buy this gear in “non-girlie” as well as “girlie” colors. Not many other women’s gear manufacturers offer their gear in “non-girlie” colors. I appreciate the fact that MSR does. I would never wear pink or baby blue gear, but I do know girls that would. So it’s great that they offer the gear in a few color variations for women of differing tastes. For color I give the MSR RG2X Women’s Gear a 10 out of 10.

Conclusion: Overall I really like the MSR Women’s Gear. I would recommend it over any other women’s gear to any female looking for gear.
