Tech care sub valves

Im looking at getting the tech care subvavles for my kdx. I am going to be getting kx forks and i want somthing to make them more plush. Will these subtanks help with dampening over small stuff and make the forks less harsh? Thats mainly what i am looking for. Also do i need to modify the forks in order to put them on?? thanks for any help

just got my bike back from tech-care today! rode around the shop for 10 minutes, now ive got the bug, i have to go riding SOON. anyways it seems like a different bike, i cant wait to try this out. all i got was a revalve respring...................the 1 year non smoking plan . i have no suspension knowledge to speak of but it seems to me that they could make your suspension really plush without them for a woodsguy, as there is hardly a chance to bottom out on jumps . which is what i gather from the ad .the emboldened areas here is what gives me that impression. plush and bottom resistance is more obtainable with them. i spent too much money today, i will add them to my ride when i go for an oil change

Tech-Care Fork Volume chambers significantly improve the plushness and bottoming resistance of Kayaba and Showa cartridge and twin-chamber style forks. With the ability for the rider to adjust the low speed fork action using an adjustable pintal valve located between the fork and chamber, the oil height and compression valve stacks can be set more aggressively to improve the fork's mid stroke action and bottoming resistance during high speed hits and slap-down landings.
