KDX - Pro Circuit and FMF
Everybody knows the 2 FMF pipes for the KX200 and what characteristics they have. I am not covinced they are the end all be all. They may be but I suspect there are other options as well. There has to be something between all bottom pipe and all top end pipe.
What can people tell me about the Pro Circuit pipes on the KDX 200. Is it a torque pipe a rev pipe or somewhere in between. Does it make the bike more pipey or less pipey etc...
I understand there are lots of testimoials on both sides. I am not asking which is better mond you. The charasteristics of a pipe are not subjective. It is comparison between charasteristics of the pipes I am after not opinions on which is better or which they like better.
Of course this assumes one person tried all the pipes. and has actually compard them. If not they perhaps someone has consolidatd the knowlege from others.
Thanks

The general understanding is that the pro circuit platinum 2 is similar to the fmf torque, except the pc pipe revs out better. The pc platinum is similar to the fmf rev pipe, but the pc pipe makes more torque off the bottom. I do not know about the dynoport pipe.

I have a Pro Circuit Platinum on my 96 KDX 200. It is comparable to the FMF Rev pipe. It rips when it comes to mid range and top end. It didn't do much at all for my bottom end though, which was what i was hoping for. I am looking to get rid on my Pro Circuit Platinum and get a FMF Gnarly Woods pipe.

I've had the PC on my KDX for 6 years and it's great. Woke the engine up in the mid and top. Everything else except the airbox and gearing are stock.

I have the PC2 on my 2006 200 and, boy, what a difference through the whole range, even top. The quality and workmanship is also better than any FMF pip I have owned.

OK so now this question....How does it fit? I have heard many problems fitting the FMF pipe. Does the PC fit easier? Or is this going to be a bend and twist to get everything to line up?

The PC was a snap to fit. Everything lined up correctly with no undue stress on the rubber pipe mount brackets, which I can't say for the FMF pipes I have installed on other bikes.

Does the PC2 pipe have more clearance between the pipe and the frame where it bends right out of the exhaust port?
I am looking for a pipe that once installed is further away from the down tube. The reason is becasue with the KDX motor in the KX frame, the stock pipe is too tight and touches the downtube before it fullt seats in th exhaust port.
