Clutch Basket Groves

Pardon me if this offends anyone...

You folks ever file the groves out of your clutch baskets or just replace them? (I'm cheap and looking for an option to buying a new one) My KDX220 is a 2001.

Many thanks-

Matt

I filed them off on my bike and have put a whole season on it like that with no complaints.

However, it wasn't notched very bad in the first place and I'll only do it once. Next time I'll be investing in a new basket rather than risk getting too muck play in the plates and doing serious damage.
