2007 Gaerne 10's or 2008 Tech 7's?
I'm looking for a new set of boots, and found the following two to be in the price range I'm looking at. My question is which would be the better boot to buy with price not being a factor? Thanks for the help.

The Gaerne SG10.
Ive had both the SG10 & the Tech 7. The 7's lasted me about 6 or 7 months before the soles delaminated off the front of the boot & the reversed buckles are retarded. Every time I kick started my CR or KX I would unbuckle the right boot.
My SG10's are more comfortable, have held up to way more riding, and at the end of the day are still buckled... always.

I would go with the SG-10's. More protection, very comfortable, better buckles, last longer.

Never had the Tech 7's, but I love my SG-10s!
Excellent comfort and protection, easy to get on and off. Overall, a great boot. If you can get it at a good price, do it!

Never owned any SG-10's, but have heard many give them excellent ratings. HAVE owned a few pair of Alpinestar's... a very popular boot, but not with me... they seem to wear out faster than most high-end boots IMO.
