Round #15 SPOILER!
Say it is not so? The wire feeds put JS in the top 10 on lap 1, but where was the champ? 18th, noooooo! At the checkers RV! JS rallied up to second and Daisy 3rd! The champ, he finished 7th!!!!! So, that gives the lead , back, to JS by 3 points! And in the lites, RD takes another win! We shall see all the carnage at 9am CST for the lites on speed, then the SX is at 1pm CST on cbs.

Reed went down in the first turn with Tyler Bowers. Stewart stalled the bike on the first lap but it fired up first kick. Stewart sliced through the pack in a hurry but for some reason Reed struggled on this track. Early in the race Reed wasted 4 laps to get around Matt Boni and at one point Boni was pulling away from Reed so not sure if his bike was twisted up or what.
Congrats to Villopoto, must have been like an old Loretta's battle with Alessi, TV and Millsaps running 1-2-3 for most of the main.

No doubt the track was a factor as Reed struggled in qualifying and was 2.5 seconds off Stewart's time.

How many times can TC push the front tire under the sand? What a race! JW just got a new nickname, whiner! This is SX lites racing, anything can happen, as he stomps off the podium, PFFFFFT! RD rode as close to flawless, and won, nice job! What happens next week, if RD's bike pukes a tranny, it is a Suzuki? Now the track, I was doing my rain dance, the track crew set it up for the worst(rain), it did not happen. So they had a sand base and dirt on top? Wow, at the soft lines in the corners! I hate to see what the track looks like after the SX main. And the man has squashed Nolaw's plan. once again? For Jacksonville? Grasping for straws with the bumping, they could have done a lot better taking some positions from the Daytona race! Oh, but that was the fim, the ama is not done yet!

HEY, what was that I just saw? (I'm watching the Seattle SX main now.)
I think it looked like a monkey.
Yes, I'm pretty sure I just saw a monkey jumping!
Yup, that was definitely a monkey jumping, from one SX Champion's back, to another SX Champion's back.
In fact, I think it jumped, just for a moment, onto a 250 SX champ's back, and then back off!
So, now that I've confirmed that, can we now call this '09 SX series "THE SEASON OF THE JUMPING MONKEY?"
(Or is it still too early for that?)
BTW, please do not mistakenly take any racial inferences from this post, I implore you.

What if the hokie pokie IS what it is all about ????
Funny thing I've noticed; It seems the harder I work, the more 'lucky' I am!

Pretty fun race to watch. That track could just not hold the power of these big 4 strokes. Most of the crashes were just giving too much power too soon when exiting the corner.
Chad got a bad jump out of the gate and Milsaps came right across his bow, then Chad swerved right into poor Bowers. Chad was a wrecking ball out there, lol. Took Adams down, too.
What's up with Chad's losing 15 pounds since Saint Louis? Serious health problem, nerves, or more excuses from the Warrior?
Congrats to Villopoto for getting his first win! Well done!

I didn't hear Chad making any excuses, just the normal media hype blowing everything out of proportion for ratings!!!!!
Bowers was well behind Reed when Reed was bumped by Milsaps, and then Bowers ran into the back of Reed.

From Erin's information, all they would have needed was water, and they would have had a concrete track! I will have to turn on the cc and really take in all CR was saying on his pre-race interview. I am pretty sure he put his trusty thor boot in his mouth, at least once. Wow the track, I would have loved to seen Erin put her skull mud boots down in them ruts! That was way worse than if it would had rained! Them ruts would pass for jumps coming out of them. With the deplorable coverage and all aside, it sure looked like the track conditions effected everyone, at least once? Sure would had liked to seen Stuarts problem off the start. Really good to see Tedesco and RV back on the box. To be in RV's or Mikes head at the moment he fell and gave the win away, again? New track next week, statistically? 3 points down and has a monkey on his back? Can CR comeback, do what needs to be done? CR better start praying Bubbles shows up! I tried watching the GOATE doing the all left hander thing(in a car no less)prior to the CBS airing, almost put me to sleep, and he was in 2nd! Wide awake when the gate fell!

I really thought with 3 races left and CR needing to beat Bubba only once for the title he had a good shot.
But today was that shot, Bubba stalled the bike. Had CR gotten a decent start, got to the front right away, he might have won it. While he did get bumped, and hit from behind, it was a terrible start. Even a fair start and he wouldn't have been in a position where he would have been bumped and run into.
And Bubba, as many mistakes as he makes, I don't see him making a big enough mistake to lose it now.
