just got two 1984 honda xr200's need help gettin to run
so as the title says i just got 2 1984 xr200's and i need help gettin them to start.
i cant currently work on them till tomorrow but any suggestions until then are welcome. They haven't been used in just under 2 years. but my main thoughts were just change the spark plug and put some gas in her and go from there?
HELP!!!

How long has it been since they were last run? What kind of shape are they in?
For starters, I'd clean the spark plug, air filter, change the oil, and clean the carb. I'd also take the time to adjust the valves for proper clearances. I'd probably check the timing just to make sure it's correct too.
Then, what I did when I got my 200 was tear apart the forks and shock and replaced any worn bushings and changed the suspension fluid. I also greased the swingarm and linkage. All of this before I rode it.
Oh yeah, do yourself a favor; buy a service manual.
