ok guys my weight is 165lbs im 5'7". ive been riding for about 2 years now. i ride a 99cr250r. i ride alot of sand pits and trails, i climb alot of sandy hills and alot of rutted out hills. now, im going to keep my CR. i love the bike its a blast and its fun in any situation. but, i would like a trail bike just to be able to sit back and relax at times. i will not mod the cr and tone it down because thats now what im looking for. so, my question is xr400 or xr250. my cousin has an xr400 and it doesnt seem like it has much there. it doesnt have a bald tire so.... how easy it to mod these bike. i was to have a relaxed ride that i can cruise on and not have it chug along but have a ton of grunt when i need it. what do you guys think, thanks for any and all help.

The 250 will seem very weak coming off the CR. The 400 should do what you want.

hi yes a xr 400 is a good choce as i have a xr 125 xr are a good reliable bike power is there if u need it so go for it
