I was experiancing clutch slippage at 36hrs.
As I took the clutch out the plates looked great and no burt oil smell so I could not understand why I was having an issue until I pulled the remaining clutch plates out and saw that the 2nd to last fiber plate had craked into 8 pieces.

I was telling some of my other Y09 honda owners and they laughed and said they have seen the problem several times already it is ussually the last fiber or 2nd to last fiber plate.
The remaining fibers were in spec so I put one new fiber in and closed it up. Not sure why, but this seems to be a common problem of the Y09 honda owners, so be aware if you experience slippage early it could just be 1 plate $12 and not an entire clutch $187 replacement.

I read the article on the CRF450Y09 potential clutch slippage solutions.
I think my solution is the best and cheapest for solving the slippage issue.
-Stiffer springs $65
-Hydraulic clutch - $200

It still does not solve the disk plate breakage issue. I have been running the above setup since 8hrs new on the bike and got the disk break issue around hour 36.
