used 2003 yzf250
Looking to buy my first 4 stroke. What should i be aware of(look for) .This bike has been for sale for a year ay a good price.Kinda scared to buy it as $$ is tight.How much is a rebuild?

What bike is it? Yamaha doesnt make a YZR250

I am assuming you mean a YZ250FR - R being the year of the bike

A rebuild top end with valves and all is about a grand. Add about $500 for a bottom end crank job.
