help!?!?!

I got a 95 XR250R and I like to jump it. I tightened up my back shock spring and now my fork dives pretty bad in turns and somthing makes a sound that sounds like tires barking when I jump really high, I used to think it was my tire rubing my silencer but it now I dont know. so mainly how do I tighten my forks besides putting air or buying springs. and what is that sound?:think

Springs are the only option..
