yz450f tested by everts

i heard everts and bervoets tested the yz 450f and were so entusiastic they want to finish the championship on it,also heard the bike is faster than the kitted bike and that s very agile.
it also seems next year every yamaha rider will be on yz 450 in supercross.

Every Yamaha rider? That seems a little far fetched. I am sure the 450F is better than the 426, and would put $ down on one tomorrow ( if I had the money!), BUT I doubt Yamaha will force every factory rider to ride one - not every rider likes 4 strokes better or rides one better.
As every new model release ensues, there is always alot of extra hype. Isn't Everts already running a bored out 426 with an aluminum frame? It seems unlikely that his factory bike is slower than the the new stock 450 - remember he does ride and speak for Yamaha and is a little biased in that respect. JMHO.

I haven't read anything into subject, but every rider? For some reason I just don't see MC riding a 4-stroke. Call me old fashioned, but the 2-stroke ain't dead yet!

I don't think that will be a problem unless Kawasaki makes him ride the all new green plastic DRZ! :scream:

I was just at Budds Creek and got a close up pix of Ferry and his ride, I will post in the future. I noticed that he didnt have the oil resovoir/dipstick by the steering neck, which is how the '03 models are set up......

everts and bervoets used all sizes up to 520 (I heard). In Europe the mx bike can be a prototype. An off the shelf 450 won't be faster; it has to have some durability.
