WR or YZ or what?

Ok...So, I was thinking of buying a bike. I was thinking of buying a wr/yz 400 or 426. I'm not an expirienced rider but I'd like a 4-stroke and I kinda like Yammie so..Well, let's just say that I'm open for suggestions. Thing is, I'd like a bike that I can use as a motard, dirtbike and enduro (both winter and summer!). What are the biggest differences between the yz and wr? Gearing, suspension and electric I guess. Is the wr apig on the track compared to a yz? Is there a way to get the wr-electrics on a yz and is there a point in doing so (I was thinking about lights and so on)?? OR - am I totally way off in wanting a Yammie???

Well what kind of riding do you want to do? If you are going to be on the track at all then I would recommend a YZ. It is a lot easier to make a YZ trail-friendly than it is to make a WR track-friendly. I for one would not want to ride a WR in MX without a lot of mods. If you plan to just ride woods and trails then maybe the WR would be better. Then again you also mention motard, and I imagine the WR's wider ratio transmission and higher top speed would help there. Maybe you need 2 bikes?

That's pretty much it. And weight. The WR with all its extras is going to weigh a little more.
