Anyone know where I can find a timeline for the KX250 that shows the differences in years? One like the KDX timeline on justkdx.dirtrider.net would be great.

I'm not sure. I do know the 97-98 look almost the same. The major difference being the 98 has a power jet carb. The 99-02 look the same having different gas tank, shrouds, seat, side panels, and rear fender than the 97-98 models. I imagine the sub frame is different also. The isn't a huge difference in the way these bikes perform from year to year. Just subtle differences. The 03-04 are all new except for the motor. It hasn't changed much for a while. I know very little about the 96 and older. I think the 97 was the first year they put the longer/stronger swing arm on them and it supposedly made a big difference in the handling. I hope this helps.
