Best WP 43mm fork revalve for desert enduros ?
Was hoping to get some recommendations ... the bike is a 2002 Gas Gas xc300 with 43mm WPs. I ride in the desert in southern california ... racing desert enduros (D-37) but also the occasional hare & hound. I do a little mx for practice sometimes.
Who does a nice revalve on these forks for this type of riding ?
Thanks !

Eel,
I've been using Aftershocks (650-494-8849) for both Enduro & Best in the Desert. Nothing but positive results for me.

Novation-they set it up so you can adjust it for everything from offroad to supercross. I just had their mid valve and base valve installed in my KTM, and it is the best fork I have ever ridden-including some that were factory team WPs and some of the "tanked" maeda tunned forks.

I agree, he has set up 4 of my bikes. In addition, he has ridden the ISDE 6 times and won 4th overall for the US on his GG.
Great guy and great price!

So you're gonna go for it? Cool. You can get KTM preload adjustors that'll fit on the 43's. Search the Smackover archives or ask GP.
