the truth about airbox sealing & DSP power now

Hey everyone. I have an 04 CRF450 and was reading an article on the pc racing website about sealing the actual airbox with silacone or buying their kit. Is this a necessary mod to the airbox in order to ensure dirt stays out? I know honda fixed this problem for the most part, but am curious if this mod is really necessary?
Also, has anyone tried the power now for the 04 CRF450?

Absolutely you need to seal that air box, pick yourself up some black silicone and go to town... I will take you 45 minutes tops and the potential savings in premature engine wear is worth the time! Pull your sub-frame off, take the air box out and remove the boot and apply the silicone between the rubber boot and airbox. Re-install the boot and your set. As far as the DSP Power now goes we have not tested one yet but I am pretty sure we will try one out on some of our new test bikes this year.
