I am almost 15 years old, I have had a yamaha TTR-125 for a little more then 2 years now.

I am now thinking about another bike. I love my ttr-125, but it just seems a little weak after driving some of my friends 2 stroke bikes.

I have a couple questions about it...

1) is it street legal, like the 220r (it looks the same but they don't say it is on there site) I want a bike that I can legally ride on the road with out getting anymore tickets

2) what is the top speed, ( I will be driving it on the road a lot if it is legal to )

3) how long do you think these 2-stroke bikes will be sold for, I am still working hard to pay for a new bike

4) how low can you get the seat lowered (just adjusting the suspension) I am only about 5ft 6in now

I am sure I will think of more later

Thanks,
Joe

The kdx fourm could answer all of these.

thanks for reading through the whole post before reading

as I said at the end of my other thread (if you would have read that far, before deleting it) I put this in the wrong topic, as someone helpfully told me in the other topic so I moved it here

my questions were...

1) is the kdx200 street legal, want a bike I can ride on the street without getting a ticket every time on my ttr-125

2) how low can I make the seat height by adjusting the suspension on the bike ( i am only 5ft 6in, almost 15 years old)

3) what is the top speed on the bike, since I will be using it on the street a lot (assuming it is street legal)

4) how long do you think they will be makeing this bike (i am still working hard to get the money for it)

I will probably think of more questions

Thanks in advance for any help

Do a search all of that can be found.

1.) No, but can be made legal in many states with a dualsport kit ($400 - $500)

2.) It'll be tall for you, but you'll grow into it.

3.) Fast enough. But if you want to ride on the street all the time you might as well get a street bike.

4.) A while, it's popular. Just buy one that is 5 years old to save money, they haven't changed it in quite a while.

Hey man, nice to see other riders my age on these bikes. I am 15 and about 5' 9" and don't have any large problems with handleing the bike. But a stock would probably be easier because my toy is completely modified for low end power with a new carb, chamber, and silencer.

Good luck to ya
