Seat Inter-changeability / 94 to late model

I know that a KX500 seat cover is the way to get a gripper cover on my 1994 KDX; any idea how much modification / fabrication would be involved to put a 95 and up seat on a 94?
Please help as forehead getting sore

I got the same effect by using some expandable foam to build-up the center and ski-jump area of the seat-base, let it dry and shaped the hardened foam and original seat foam to get the effect I wanted. Looks modern, feels modern, and fit like, it was made for it, cause it was!
Its now flatter and rounder, like an mX bike.
Sorry, I didn't take pix of the steps..
