hey,
i just have a quick question i was wondering how a yz 125 will hold up in the dunes cause im gettin a dirtbike but im not sure if a 125 will have enough guts. also a 250 would prolly be a little too much but im 5'8 150lbs would a 125 be enough for me at the dunes?
thanks for the help.
later,
jake

in the dunes its always better to have more power as it does place a great load on the engine

hey thanks man i was just wonderin cause my dad wont let me get a 250 2 stroke he says ill kill myself caue of the way i ride

actually a 250 would be safer for you. in the dunes on the 125 you would have to be riding closer to the limits of the bike everytime you ride. On a 250 you have enough power not to have to ride too crazy to get around

hey i am getting a kx 250 and i am like 5,8 and like 140 i should be able to handel it right??
also any one know how fast it would go?
i also heard that on a 250 you can cat walk in any gear is this true??
k thanks

i cant really speak about you being able to handle the bike. As I am over 200 and can manhandle the 250. maybe a smaller guy will chime in

All depends on you and your skill level. Size and weight do not play that huge of a factor if you let the bike do the work and don't try to manhandle it everywhere.

maybe a 4stroke 250 would be a better choice, considering better power and more control then a 250 s stroker?

no 250F's suck in the dunes its just like riding a 125, definetly 250 at least if your gonna be doing alot of that kind of riding.
