What gear do you wear when you go for a ride?

So what gear does everyone wear when you are going for a ride in the woods, in a field, with some buddies...pretty much any time EXCEPT racing?

I wear the same as when I race. Goggles, helmet, boots, gloves, jersey, pants and knee braces. The chance of injury is just as great riding as it is racing.

Regardless of racing or playing, I wear everything except knee braces and elbow pads.

I leave my knee pads off and my chest protector off when I'm not riding at a track. When I free ride, I'm mostly just doing wheelies and stoppies in a field by me. Other then that I'm riding in sand and when I fall, it's into soft sand. I also tend to wear a short sleeved shirt when free riding bacuse it's a little cooler.

Whether I'm free riding or racing I wear it all. Helmet, boots, jersey, pants, knee braces, wrist brace, neck brace, gloves, goggles, and chest protector (is that all??). I never ride w/out any of it. I have actually had my worst crash of all time in an open field. If I hadn't been wearing the chest protector, helmet and neck brace, I would have been hurt a lot worse.

I always wear full race gear no matter what type of riding I'm doing (unless maybe 50 riding).

Helmet, Chest Protector with PCS Neck Support System, Boots, Pants, Jersey, Knee Pads, Kidney Belt, Gloves, and Goggles

The way I ride, I have the full complement of gear on at all times. Sometimes even that isn't enough. It seems that I'm the safest riding track. On the trail, it's anything goes. If nothing else, I'm entertaining to watch.

Helmet, goggles, kidney belt, jersey, gloves, old jeans, work boots.

cant get booties that fit around my fat legs.....

although i might be able to now that ive dropped 50 pounds since january.

i like to be able to move my ankles though. hee hee!

usually just helmet goggles gloves jersey and boots. every once in a while a chest protector never hurt tho
