Great white lost hype

Well, I finally got to see young Alessi ride last night on the ESPN broadcast of Millville. Just looking at him in the interviews he was just an awkward looking, geeky KID. He's so young looking! I don't understand why he and his family have such an arrogant, disrespectful, and mouthy attitude. While it might be great for getting exsposure with MX fans and magazines it has obviously rubbed the pro's the wrong way. It looks like they are all out to get him. Especially Stewart. That was hilarious when #259 dedicated his win to the Alessi camp. Once Alessi calms down, it looks like he could really be competitive out there. That's if he can get out of the hole his mouth has dug and the other guys don't kill him. Personally, seeing him in the back of the pack and a DNF is sweet justice for the smack talk. SHUT UP AND RIDE!

Pro2k, I agree, shut up and ride. I was at Millville, got to meet Mike and watch him ride. He is very fast and has great potential. He will be a force to recon with. The mouthing from all areas of his camp has caused a great deal of harm to him. I hope he learned alot this past weekend. If he cleans up his attitude and his family does as well, I think he will be a great addition to the sport. Don't know personally but I think he has the potential to clean up his mouth but from all the things I have read, it camp might not have the same ability.
p.s. Stewart's comments were classy and hillarious!

I liked what was said from the announcers as they where lining up for the 2nd Moto. Alessi's gate choice was way outside. they quoted Alessi as saying he was going outside to stay away from all the elbows thrown his way in the 1st moto. Sounds like everyone who got close to their shot at him in the 1st moto.

As a long-time Millville rider, a lot of us like to line up way outside. Good place to start as you just hold it wide open and crank it over into the sandy loam, never shutting off. There's no inside line advantage at M'ville. You do NOT shutdown even a little for the first turn, if you want to be up front.
