Sad, I think a racer died from a non-crash heart/lung type stress in Brazil last year as well.

bad news again for the 2004 ISDE. Nathan Kinney underwent surgery this week to repair a damaged spleen due to a wreck.

Sadly, a Dutch chase rider broadsided a vehicle while WFO. The rider and two occupants of the vehicle all died.
With teh death of the German Trophy Team rider, it is the single worst day in ISDT/E history for fatalities.

Dang, that is really bad.
I know it supposed to be a time trial,but it often seems to turn into an all out race.

That is very sad. One of the my Shred Betty teammates has a husband competing in the ISDE in Poland, I will try to get more details as to what happened in the forest. Very sad.

I believe Nathan hit a tree within the first 2 miles on the 1st day...bummer, this was his first 6 day.
It is a shame about the tragic deaths. I believe it was Ty Davis's chaser(they carry misc. items from check to check for the their rider) that hit a car in a previous year in Italy.
