ATV Transmission ratios

Hey all,
I have an assignment at work that requires me to determine how many revolutions an engine turns in one mile of travel. We are going to assume 3rd gear as it provides us with a good compromise. I have the final gearing and the tire size of the ATV in question but cannot find the gear ratios...even from the manufacturer.
I am looking at a polaris 700 twin. It has a CVT type trans in it so there are no ratios per say but if anyone knows of the ratios in thier quad, or a good place to find this info let me know. I would also be interested in the maximum and minimum torque multiplication of a typical CVT.
Hopefully somepone could pull through and let me know!!
