I have a 01 YZ250 with stock fork springs .43. I ride mainly woods in the NC mountains. I weigh 225. I just had the forks serviced and revalved and they are still too harsh. I have been bouncing off rocks, roots and holes. I have been running only about 10 lbs of air in the front tire. I have tried adjusting the compression and rebound. What spring should I change to? Any other suggestions.
Thanks for your help.

Did your tuner not suggest springs??
The first step in setting up suspension is getting the springs dialed in for your weight. Depending on your height i would suggest .45kg fork springs and approx 5.4kg shock spring. This will hold the suspension up in the stroke and if the valving is done right provide you with a plush ride.

Darren
