Why is it that the first thing that comes out of every famliy member, co-worker and general friend's mouth when I return from DW is .......

No broken bones?



Do they really think we go out and ride expecting to break bones?

Ask 'em what they did on their weekend. They say something like mowed the lawn or repaired the cabinets. I ask 'em "What?! You didn't cut off your toe or smash your thumb?"

Most non-riders just have no concept.

You're right Randy...they have no clue.

At least two people back at work have said to me "Glad to see you're still walking on both legs..."

Seems quite afew actually do each year but i bet everyone of them would do it again.

I've been greeted with, " what happend!" since their is no glory in my story, I have been telling them I fell over the turkey fryer during the drinking binge!
