Once in 1990 ohlins produced the rotary composite damper that gave a GP win with Yves Demaria in 1997, GP of San Marino. Than things became quite, untill recently Sachs built another one for.... the winning car of Formule 1:the ferrari.
Suzuki used it on the TL1000R.
Plusses: Small and compact
negatives: expensive and maintenance
Anybody have ridden a TL1000R with this suspension?

we putt that at the minus side, i guess

I saw this tech article in a motormagazine. Was intresting to read.

No one will let me loose on one
i read a few mag write ups and they all agreed it was bad for a ligh rider, i heard it was a stiction problem.A local tuner was modifying alot and had good results but suzuki dropped it.I think the idea has merit.

I think the problem is in packaging the canister, or providing a volume for the oil to be displaced to. Anyone seen the sachs dampers?
