Yamaha MX175F

A friend is selling a 1981 Yamaha MX175F. It seems to be in good shape. does anyone here know anything about them? He wants about 800 for it, is that too much?

I don't think they cost $800.00 when they were new.

Maybe if it was in museum condition . . . . .

$300 - $400 tops.

My Riding Buddy had one back in the 80's, it was a decent bike but he went through a lot of pistons/rings with it.
