It's been a month since I have ridden and it looks like it will be a while before the trails dry out. Jeff and I have talked about going to Little Sahara. I'm putting the paddle tire on tomorrow. Who wants to go?

MAN! I'd love to go. Between selling the house, holidays, et al, let me see if I can get it done. I'll go ahead and order up a paddle just in case.

Looks like I will be up to my bald head in mud that weekend. You guys have fun and stay dry. I'm still wanting to head your way to ride as soon as it drys out some.

Cool. This will probably be one of two trips up there in the next month for me. When its wet it's fun even without a paddle. But with one its the best traction you will ever get. Lee, this would be a long trip for you but if you want to try in a couple of weeks you could come come up on a Friday night and split up the drive.

Weather is looking good for Saturday. Ary you guys going to camp there, ride both days?
Is there any specs for the flag, other than 10' high? Would a 'Jolly Roger' be OK?

I'm thinking about Saturday only. Its going to be a little chilly for camping and as long as its been since I have ridden I think 4 or 5 hours of riding would be enough to kick my tail.
A Jolly Roger? Is that a skull and cross bones? The website says it has to be 10 ft high, bright red or orange and without markings.

I'm out. Will be in Dallas.

DWreck, How far from your house is it? Sounds like I could pull that off this next month. What about riding the sand on a Saturday and then hitting the 500 on Sunday? Now that sounds like a trip worth all the drive time...lol

I just bet I could talk Mike into the trip. Well if it wasn't for the race this coming weekend I would go with you guys. I got to get off here now, before my wife kicks me in the a__ again. Eat plenty, sounds like we are all going to work it off this coming weekend. Happy Thanksgiving all, Lee

I think its about 2 hours from my house. Looks like Jeff and I are going Saturday. Craig are you in? Your 450 wants to go! Maybe we can start throwing some December dates around and get a big group together for the next outing. This is one of those the more the merrier places to ride. I am going to Kansas first thing tomorrow and won't be back until Friday afternoon but will check in as soon as I get back. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Derek

I'm out. Got a funeral to attend.
I'll look at making the next trip there.

Oh man I'm tied up at work, I even got drunk and bought a paddle tire off **** last night

no fair, i love little sahara. it's the best riding there is. if you do it next month, i may be able to borrow a bike. i might get grounded though if the wife figures it out.

i have a 19" paddle that someone can use if they're ever in my area. i have a few flags and mounts too. buy your flags before you go, they will rape you if you buy them out there. also buy an extra flag, you will break at least one. if you have old plastic, sprockets and chains, put them on. the sand destroys them.
