Not sure about team Canada, but I would sure like to go. Just got the wife a Kx 100 and am working on convincing her. Mind you if she comes we will have to skip the traditional 2 week stay at the Mustang ranch

I'm there and I may be bringing along a Schemp for mechanical and moral support - oh, and I guess he could ride his bike, too.... Tell Kristen I'm a first timer - I don't know anyone, but what a great way to make friends; we already have so much in common: riding and gambling (in that order... maybe?).

You're going to have a ball Tink'... there's a bunch of lady riders, many different levels of riders, and tons of varied terrain. Everything from "drive-on-down-the-dirt-road-and-admire-the-herd-of-antelopes-running-across-the-road" ....to "I-think-I'm-gonna-die-rockfilled-waterfalls."

And there is always someone to lead a ride group -- so you don't even have to know your way around.

Oh yah.... you're gonna' have fun...

Just bought a new streetbike (`04 Buell XB9S Lightning), so the finances are being stretched a little thin as it is (so says my finance minister).But we`ll leave the decision a little closer to v-day and we`ll see.

How is Katy liking that new 450? Are you too getting much riding in over there? Angela and I went out yesterday afternoon for a few hours and had great time. It looks like we choose the right day though because it's snowing here this morning, but we sure need the moisture so it's good to see it.

This weather is crazy! I left Colorado to get away from the snow& cold.

It's approx. 25 miles north of Reno, off of Pyramid Hwy (Hwy 445 I think).

Smiffies out

I started a new position at work and have been gone the last 2 weeks and leave again Sunday for another 6 days. It would put too much stress on the spousal unit if I were to leave for an additional 5 days in Feb, let alone being gone from the kids.

The KTM hasn't been fired up since I rode with the Canadians last Fathers day, so I'm far from ready to ride.

Sorry guys, I was looking forward to seeing the midwesterners, Texans, Canadians, and all the other Westerners that I got to meet last year.

Have Fun and make sure someone has their GPS ready for the Donner Party Adventures this year

If I recall correctly a certain Oregonian had us headed for Canada
