My NEW kx250F just broke in .pops out exhaust when i let of gas with clutch engaged or letting engine brake for me. is this normal . thanks.

I don't have your bike, but that will frequently happen when you need to tighten the head pipe bolts(exhaust) to the head. Sometimes these bolts need to be retightened after the first time the engine gets good and hot.

First make sure your head pipe and mid section are tight, that has already been mentioned.

If all is tight, the KXF/RMZ are lean on the pilot, so go up 1 size, I believe it will be a #42. Some very slight poping is normal. But when it gets excessive, look for a loose exhaust or a lean pilot setting to fix the problem.

I concur with steve125. We are even using a #45 in the winter months at sea level and winter grade pump fuels.
