Thanks.

Sometimes if you look on that auction site e*** you can find the blueprints for sale for pretty cheap. I know i have seen them on there before but can't say if it is still there.

What kind of ramp are you looking for??? What are you looking to do with it?
I have built two ramps so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for the link.
I guess i'm planning on using it to try to learn free style tricks but i'm not looking at clearing 70 foot gaps just yet. not in the mood to be in a body cast.
I also will not have a huge dirt hill to land on. See it's hard to find places to jump about here but i have enough flat ground to do a little jumping. there's a small down hill part for landing but i''m talking like a 4 foot drop over 40 feet so not much of a hill.
So any info on the size of ramp that would work good for me would be awesome.
Oh and the chunk of ground i have to ramp off on it about 5 acers or so long. ( not sure how many feet that would be) thats for landing and taking off. at the end i will have to be able to come to almost a full stop otherwise i'll end up in a grumpy farmers field.
Thanks again.

BlackRaptor, For what you are looking to do, I would take the Rev 1 angle, and build your first two sections to about the 17' long 53.25" inch dimensions, this will give you about 4.4' of height and not too agressive of an angle to start with. The cool thing about ramps is that they are consistant, and very portable. So that means that you can set the jump up as close as you want the first time you hit it. The first time I hit my ramp I had it set up as close as it would go to the landing. The more comfortable you get with jumping it, the further back you can set it.
Stopping room should not be a problem since you usually only hit the ramp in second gear. I have cleared fifty feet in first gear using the first two sections of my ramp (approx the same as yours).
A tip that the Rev. 1 designer gave me was to shave off the first foot of the entry on the ramp as compared to his measurements. Also, my full ramp is built in three sections 9'-8'-5' from start to finish. I would just build the first two for starters, but use the Rev. 1 angle. Then if you ever want to add on to it, you can just build another section.
Also, you are not going to be able to do very many "freestyle" tricks off of the first two pieces, the biggest trick that I've seen yet off of them was a heelclicker, but I wouldn't dare try it. All I can do are no-footers and no handers.

Believe me, those first two pieces may look small but they throw you farther and higher than you think they will.
