ok my 01 yz250f wouldnt start so i pulled the plug and saw that it was fouled out so i went and got two new ones. after i put the new one in it still wouldnt start. so i pulled the plug agai and saw that it wasnt sparking. so me and my dad checked all of the wiring. so we thought we had a bad stator plate and we pulled that out and we checked with a meter and it is in good condition. so after we put every thing back in my dad started it up on the third kick while i was at school. when i got home i put the tank back on and now it is doing the same thing it was before.( when you kick it it wont turn over and seems like it has lower compression than before)

The guy at my dealer said there was a really specific way to kick and you ahve to learn it. My plug has spark and everything else is good i guess im just not kicking it the right way .

I have an 01 WR250F and I'll tell you this; if it's not an ignition problem, and if the compression comes and goes, and if you should happen to check the valve clearances and they are WAY off, then if I was you I would stop trying to start it and get a valve job done, pronto.
