Shouldn't he have a factory ride?

Well?

Even though Pastrana and Voss aren't in the factory rig. It was my understanding they have factory bikes, Pastrana for sure.

I mean a full-blown, fully paid factory ride. No travel/lodging costs, the factory rig, etc.

Nick Wey for sure.

Voss is riding a factory Yamaha and pitting out of the Yamaha big rig for the first 5 rounds - kind of like a trail deal. And Pastrana, I think he had the full factory option, but opted to do his own thing with the factory bike but his own sponsors/rules.
So I guess that only leaves Wey (who's been doing really well the past year) and Hamblin (who hasn't). They are both doing their own thing without primary factory backing (like Pastrana/Voss).
So I'll say Nick Wey for sure!! Won't Honda need another rider under their tent for the rounds MC isn't racing. He'd be the perfect choice, and has been putting in Fonseca-like results over the past season or so.

I voted Wey even though I really like and admire Voss. Wey has shown more speed than a lot of the full ride boys this year, he was just a Victim of the RC budget at Suzuki I think

Speakin of Wey - really awesome interview with him over on Racer X: http://www.racerxill.com/020905_5min_Wey.cfm
