Gearne Fit Question

Unfortunately, the closest shop to me that carriers Gaerne boots is 4 hours away. So I’m forced to go mail order. I currently wear Size 10 Tech 8’s that are a bit tight. Based off what read here on DNR, I’m going with the SG-10’s. Can someone who has owned both vouch for size comparison? There was one mention that the run a little wide…but no comment on overall fit. I wear size 11 running shoes/boots/dress shoes. I’m thinking size 10 for a good snug fit but any advice is greatly appreciated!

They are very close. I wear a 10 in Tech 8's, accidentally ordered the SG-10's in 11 for some reason, they are a tad large.

Oops, opposite opinion coming...
I wear size 10 EEEE in shoes but wear an 11 (snug) in the SG10s.
I usually got by with 10 1/2s in the A/S I used to buy (never had the Tech 8s, though).

You got the bear claws too Gomer? 
I'm a 11 Reg in most shoes. Cleats and running shoes, I like the 11E. Let's see if anyone else chimes in.

I wear different size in different brand shoes...
I was comparing the fit of my Tech 8's vs. The SG-10's only.
YMMV.

My SG1s are much wider in the foot than my Alpinestars (Tech 6). Both size 12

I found the SG-10's on sale for $259 
and ordered em' up!. I ordered size 10's and they fit great. I came out of size 10 Tech 8's. As soon as I get a few rides on them I'll post a report on the other thread. Thanks to all for the advice.

I spoke with the guy who runs it. He was a nice guy. They ship free on orders over $100. They don't have a very large inventory, but have good prices on what they do have.

I got the SG-10's Friday. Like everyone else, I was very impressed with them right out of the box. 
As I get 'em broke in, I'll post a review on the other thread.

We just ordered SG10's today. We currently wear a size 6 and 14 in Tech 8's and ordered a 6 and 14 in the SG10's. Can't wait to try them out!
