The Moto7 chin bar was pretty "tall" too.

The chin bar doesn't look like it will get in the way of goggles. It looks like it droops down a little in the front, perhaps providing more protection, at least for the Jay Lenos out there. I wonder how heavy it is.

I for one would like a higher chin bar.... need something to cover that open area below the goggles. I've been whacked and cut in the nose and face enough times to know it would help. I was considering the new Thor helmet for its high roost guard on the chin bar, but haven't had a chance to try one on yet.

I e-mailed Bell for information on the Moto 8. Here's what I found out.

Anticipated release date is April, but this is a projected date and could change. MSRP is $350.95 for Matt Black. The McGrath and Motoworld is $399.95. All other colors are $375.95.
