Bike Doesnt IDLE Properly KDX250

Hello All,

I have a 1991 KDX 250, The problem I have is that my bike is not idleing properly. Its running a 155main and a 40 slow jet 1 turn out and 1368needle 3 groove from top.. It did have a 42 but screw was all way out, I put a 38 and screw was all the way in... the 40 is great and nice sm0oth transition from idle.. however the only wat I can get the bike to idle is by adjusting the accelerator tighter like im opening the throttle.. This is no goood as im only making a problem and have no throttle freeplay this way.. Does this suggest Clip position or slide???
