Help decide '05 CRF450 or YZ250?

I'm having problems deciding on which of these 2 for MX racing, sandy terrain (Southwick, MA), solely based on performance.....can anyone help or offer opinions? Thanks

For more of a open sandy track get the 450 hands down. If you get the 250 you will be trying to catch with the 450 the whole race.
