How should I set up my suspension? The track is Really messy (rough) it is full of bumps and generally there is no section that is smooth, so I need my suspension to absorb the bumps but the track has big air jumps and if my suspension is soft enough to absorb the bumps when it comes to jumps it bottoms out the most time. I ride a YZ125 ’00 and I am 170lbs what settings should I consider and if I have to change the springs or the valving For both fork and shock?

The springs should be close for your weight, im not sure on the valving on the 2000 ive not seen one, however late model yzs had issues with the midvalves banding shims and if it has a CV they tend to wear as well.It maybe time to get the forks and shock looked at.What you ask for is possible but as you can imagine its alot easier to set a bike up for just the rough chop or the big jumps.
