I have a 2002 yz 250 with sub tanks,I bought the bike with them already on.I am going to change the fork oil and I will measure what comes out.My question is can you run more oil with these and if so whats a good starting point in mm's.I'm a novice rider around 240 lbs.
Thanks in advance

I think it depends on what type of sub tank-maybe go to the manufacturer of the sub tank and ask them?

With sub tanks, you can go a little higher with the oil hieght, just a guess but I'd say 80mm form the top

I set mine near the max level. This gives a good tuning option of opening the valve until the forks just bottom.

OK, for me thats a lie. As I gain weight I can crank the regulator in and prevent bottoming.
