have a few queries on my yz250 forks. had a mid stroke kit put in them and oil height is 125, stock is 135 and they handle medium to big bumps fantasticly, but now the top 6 inches of travel is Really light and just blows straight through so now on the small bumps they feel really nervous and sketchy. any ideas on how to solve this dilemma??, thanks

Try geting the oil level up to 90 the maximum that the manual recoments is 80. If stil not satisfied change your fork oil and put lighter oil but keep the level to 100-90. Where did you get your mid stroke kit from.

thanx dino, i'll try that and see what happens. the mid stroke kit was done by a bike mechanic, over braking bumps the forks would sit half way, not go up and not go down due to oil restrictions in the fork and it has improved dramaticly so will now finish off the problem solving with your reply, cheers, dave

raising the oil level will not work if it handles big jumps well, it sounds like you have too little damping from the mid valve.
