Is exhaust or rather mufflers interchangeable on honda's CRF450r between years or did they change from year to year, I want to put a Q series FMF spark arrestor from a 2002 on a 2004?

I believe the mount on the subframe is different between '02 &'04.

Correct it is different, different subframes.

thanks guys, how about from 03 to 04 did the subframes change

Yes - I am 99% sure they are different too - I just checked my dealer books and they have different part numbers completely. I also had an 04 and remember having to wait for the 04 pipe to come out since I got it in late 03 and the 03's wouldnt fit.
