Well i was at a practice for a race today and all of the sudden my bike stoped dead, so i kicked it and it ran but it wouldnt move, the gears engage but the bike just wont move. my dad think the cluch might be fryed or it is somehow stuck in the engaged position so it wont let the bike turn the transmission.
any ideas would be greatly appriciated

Come on Someone has to have some idea of what is wrong please help

the last time I fried a clutch it just stopped engaging . the bike ran but all it did was slip...un fortunatley I think you have bigger problems...poop

Take the clutch cover off and look! It's too hard from here to see what the problem is,spend a couple of bucks on a gasket and oil...then you'll know. You need to inspect the clutch from time to time anyway atleast you'll be able to wipe off the clutch material that has accumulated on the bottom of the case. Good luck!... Kerry

Ray3667 that is basically what my bike is doing....what did u do to fix it if ya dont mind me asking

Posted by: wornknobby---------------------

you dont do any thing to fix it, open her up and see. look at the frction discs and see if there is any material still on them. see if the steel plates are warped, and also see if the springs are at there service limit. if there are any problems replace the worn parts.

New clutch kit from rockymountainatvmc.com is about 50$ ... buy one and slap it in .... get the kit with the heavy springs and steel plates(stock plates are alluminm) and go ride. remember to soak the fiber plates for a while in whatever tranny fluid you use

we just baugt new plates discs and spring and hope we can get it that way
