I have been hearing stuff about the crf and its all good stuff, nothing bad. I was wondering is there anything that might be bad about this bike? Is it very reliable?

Depends on what you consider reliable. It is atleast as much work as a stressed 125. Maybe a tad more work.

Remember it is a race bike making alot of power from very little CC'c. The RMZ or YZF is not much different as they all have good and bad points.

It is way more fun to ride.

Titanium intake valves with a short life . and no steel after market replacements yet .. other than that great.

True but they are not that bad in price. We have seen 2 pistons need replacing before the intake valves.

We figure 2 sets of intakes, 1 set of exhausts, 3 -4 wiseco pistons, 3-4 sets of valve springs, and maybe a crank (bike has a half season on it) should take us through this season of 22 harescrambles and 12 Enduros plus practice. And we should have a fresh useable bike in November to sell or keep as a back up.

I just rode some last night and I can not get off that bike once I get on it.... Junior gets POed fast as I leave him with my KTM300....

The wheel spokes were loose after 1 ride and there was an intake valve in need of replacement after 40 hours ride time on my '04 CRF250R. Watch the motor oil level, there isn't much capacity.

Everything else has been perfect.
