Who is planning to attend Roselog??

I know a large contingent from Michigan will be there.

Looking forward to it. Had to miss The Byron enduro because of the change in schedule. Bringing a new guy. He did one real (very) easy HS last month, said it was a peice of cake. I think after Sunday he may hate me. But thats a chance I am willing to take. He asked me if there would be any logs I said, "just a couple".

Thats evil, man, just plain evil
You missed a fun ride at Byron this week. Perfect weather and a very nice route!
Unfortunately I'll have to miss RoseLOG, kids racing elsewhere, unless they get rained out.

Posted by: fatherandson---------------------

I did not see any rain in the forecast for this weekend.

Just a few logs dragged into the field (grass track) so that EVERYBODY can watch you crash in the first three miles. I agree...that was evil treatment of the newbie.

I talked to fredette today (tue.) and he said they could use 4" of rain, light rain there today but none forcasted after that-so dry and loose like last year.I'll be there with a few of the bloomington,il crew

I'll be there also. Got an email from Jeff and he is suppose to have the route sheet to me by Thursday night. As soon as I get it I'll post it.

bump....

Anxiously waiting for a copy of the route sheet. Time to go check midwestenduros.com.

Posted by: jsned---------------------

Read on MidwestEnduros.com that there is no need for a gas truck. That would be good because my buddy has a MX bike with stock tank. This is his first enduro so this would take some of the worry out of it for him. I guess we will still have to see how far the loops are.

Sounds like it might be alittle different than normal.

I will be there. I will probably be the only RM 250 there. 363V on the plate. ----Mike

Looking forward to it. I’ll be assembling my motorcycle tomorrow and hopefully getting it together in time to ride Sunday.

Does anyone know if Roselawn is on Central time or Eastern Time?

Also, exactly where is the enduro located? Will it be right on Route 10 in between 65 and 41 like the summer event last year, or this is a different location?

Posted by: fatherandson---------------------

I always get confused on the time zone, but I believe Indiana does not recognize Day lights savings time. So you should be OK from Illinois, but the people from Michigan have a hour time difference.

There is a flyer on midwestenduros.com with directions. I think you are the right area. I remember the start being in a field a couple of miles south of 10 just before the road turns to dirt.

Posted by: fatherandson---------------------

I could not print the flyer. Key time is at 10:00 and it looks like the road off of 10 is Meridian Road.

Got the route sheet for Roselawn, but we had some problems along the way. Please double check it to make sure it matches everything when you sign up.

How did you guys do?

Bob did you make it? I didnt see you there.

7th Vet 30+A. Great ride. Once you get the real bad sand section done with it is a good course. That last A loop was awesome.

Any idea how many riders? It seemed like the same number as last year. I enjoy the multiple district rides. You alway have to wait to see how you finished in the district points, but it is fun competiting with riders from other states.

D14 did pretty well....the top three overall (we adopt Cody Mastin even though he lives in Ohio).
Michael Keen smoked everybody - dropping seven points (after the checks were thown out) and second overall dropped 11.

I had a good day and finished first in the 4 Stroke B class.

Waiting to see the entire results on midwestenduros.com.

P.S. Flyin' Ryan - did you get stuck in the spectator spot mudhole? If so, I am looking forward to Moss' Bridge # 2.

Posted by: jsned---------------------

277 riders!!!!!

Overall Leroy Keen, Michigan (7)

Posted by: FlyinRyan---------------------

I didn't get stuck but had to wait and lost 2 minutes being Mr nice guy. Ended up 10th AA and 11th OA. Had fun, smashed my pipe almost completely flat right before the spectator creek crossing. Put a whole in it and everything. Was able to plug the whole at the final gas stop but rode the AA / A section with it smashed.

Leroy was flying! Even if I didn't smash a pipe and have to wait I couldn't have come close. Guess we know which state has the fast guys this year.
