'79 CR250 bent forks

I got a '79 CR250 with bent forks. Can I swap an '81 CR250 triple clamps and forks for my '79 junk and still use my stock wheel? Also what about straightening the bent forks that I have using a carjack and my Ford Explorer? Is it possible?

Do not try to straighten them . Give "Forking by Frank" a call. He makes uper fork tubes for older bikes . His number is normaly in the back of the Cycling East .

hahahaha wow uhh nice idea for straightening them, but for the love of god DO NOT DO IT! lol yeah I would go with Air Chunks idea of calling a proffesional.
