I was checking out the Kawasaki website and noticed the absense of the kx125 in the 2006 lineup. But I see they finaly got out the new 450 with a four speed tranny? Why would they cut the 125? Personaly I thought that was kind of a dumb move on there part but I don't know. What you all think?

They were thinking that they don't sell many KX125's anymore. They were thinking that a new 2006 KX125 would have to compete for sales with the 2005 and 2004 models still on showroom floors. They were thinking that the 125cc class is dominated by four-stroke bikes. They were thinking that they didn't have any factory riders on 125cc bikes anymore.

They were thinking that a 125cc just isn't competitive. They are thinking that the 125cc bike is dead.

Kind of sad...I guess I never really let myself belive that they would ever get rid of the two-smokes.
