... his bike would have looked like this http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/pop...1000_139465.htm

A work of art.

If everything works out accordingly I hope to see this in my garage soon

06 YZF

Posted by: SpDyKen---------------------

My mind goes off on a variety of interesting tangents with that thought, Rich; most of them not too plausible, but interesting non the less. Interesting mental distraction after a long day, thanks! K.W.

It will be a cool bike, taraker, but not quite like Vale's M1, I think!!!

Man, 2006 is going to be an awesome year for Yamaha and Kawasaki. With their new models...it's going to be nice.

beautiful...total stunner

Posted by: SpDyKen---------------------

Check out Cycle News picture of former MXer Colin Edwards and crew in their 'Seca duds. Pretty cool picture!

Posted by: YZ165---------------------

Wow!

Posted by: gwcrim---------------------

Sort of like the old RZ350. Too bad it's not a two smoke!

Posted by: Patman---------------------

Ah, an RZ350 for some reason I have been lusting for one of those the past 2 months.

Posted by: gwcrim---------------------

I've been lusting for sometime. Prices are very reasonable too. But right now I have too many toys and not enough room.

Posted by: demographic---------------------

I love the Yamaha speedblock patern .

Reminds me of Fizzies

Posted by: dklink2000---------------------

I love my RZ, picked it up for a song to. To bad it in peices right now, I'm doing a ground up resto.

50th anniversary special edition

I watched a qualifier for some race today Nick Hayden won the poll, which was cool, but I watch two of the Yellow Yami run, which was even cooler

Posted by: Kav---------------------

I'd like to see them stick with the yellow. Now I'm just wondering if we will see any Factroy yellow YZ's mixin' it up in the dirt?

It's the Moto GP WC, watching it now, Hayden went off like a rocket, one of the yellow Yami's didn't make the first lap

They are a great looking bike

WOW

What a sound!!!!
I just got home from Laguna. The sound of those bikes is incredible.

btw, Colins bike was in full KR effect, even running #5.

Great results, but I won't comment on them.....some one would whine *no spoiler in the title*....

Posted by: Rich Rohrich---------------------

John - The best sounds I ever heard on a race track came from a BOTT field at Road America, but I'll bet it couldn't hold a candle to what you heard and SAW today. Laguna is offically on the Moto GP map now.

Posted by: Farmer John---------------------

It was pretty incredible. Very international crowd.
I have been to all of the U.S. GP's, 88, 89, & 91. I have been to tons of Superbike races. All of the races I have been in or spectated at pale in terms of.....well, just about everything.
The speed is just incredible. Hayden lapped multiple times in the 1:22's. No one else got below mid 1:23's. Give you an idea how fast this is, I think Mladin's fastest lap @ Laguna is a 1:28 or 29. Unfrigginbelievable.

Hopefully this was the breakthrough race we've been waiting for .
