2005 Yz 125 Front Fork Rattle ?

I recently purchased a New 2005 YZ125 from a dealer, I have not road this bike yet. My Question is, that when the bike is placed on a bike stand and you move the bike back and forth letting the front tire bounce off the ground, you hear a distinct rattle coming from the front forks ? ! Is this normal or should I take the bike back to the dealer ?

Normal, the 05 YZ's have a negative preload on the fork springs and thats the rattle you hear. Don't worry, go ride and have fun.

Yep I noticed it also but I knew what the cause was. Shouldn't be a problem, but eventually when you have to change the oil you should fix it by adding a spacer at the top of the spring.

them floating rotors sometimes rattle too.

Question who sells those spacers?

I probably just going to make my own out of PVC. I heard 7mm and 1 1/4" PVC is the ticket.
