o yeah im not a millionire so somthing none krazy would be great

Not sure about a YZX2000 (doesn't exist) but you didn't say what you wanted to do. for trails my favorites are Yamaha WR's
as for on the track for a budget Used Yamaha YZ's offer a good bang for the buck.

RM(SUSUKI), KX(KAWASAKI), YZ(YAMAHA), CR(HONDA) are all race bikes

CRF(HONDA), KLX/KDX(KAWASAKI), DR-Z(SUSUKI), TT-R(YAHAMHA) are trail bikes

Don't mind if I correct you on something, a CR and a CRF are both race bikes, CR is a twostroke and CRF is a four stroke. XR's are all trail bikes. And the XL is the enduro 650. This is all for Honda. Yamaha has the YZ's and YZF's, for the race bikes, and WR's for the trail bikes. And it goes on.

i don't understand why they put a 4 stroke in with the 2s but oh well, and to help you out, if you have the money for a CR probally a 250 would be good, and in the 4 stroke section i would get an XR or CRF 450.

P.S. I have never had a problem with my hondas. I've owned 3 and they all were great

If trail riding, I'd say WR450F (Check the Yamaha sitewww.yamaha-motor.com or CRF450X (check the Honda site). You could also look at KTM's site and see the EXC models if you wanted.

If racing, I'd say any 250 2-stroke or CRF450, YZ450F.

This wouldnt be a bad idea if he had a few Gs lying around...

You can get a decent mid 1990's 250 2strok for around $1,000 if you buy at the right time (IE: winter months when no one else is looking for a bike)

4strokes suck - so id be looking for a YZ, KX, RM, CR, EXC, MXC

Just go to e-bay and type in those letters

kick ass guyz this helped alot thanks

I can't say that I agree that 4 strokes suck, but then again, it's personal preference. A 4-stroke might not be bad for you. Very little maintinence required, a lot more controlable for a first bike. Weigh out your options and decide how much you want to spend. Make a budget.
