How in the heck do you get rid of these things? The first year I moved into my home i was a yellojacket invasion not it's turned into a paperwasp invasion!! I have went through more cans of overpriced wasp killer.....that they under pressurise for us folks with two story homes and im not about to get up on the roof with my flip flops, shorts, a broom in one hand and a can of spray in the other like guy nextdoor ( quite a show from my lawn I might add) I don't see any nests but they are swarming my roof and the lower areas... I need to get some calking done this week!! any help will keep me out of trouble from the close flybys and from the wife... Thanks!

water from the hoze nozzle will knock them and their nest down so you can step on them. Otherwise for close-quarters combat, I prefer starting fluid, carb or brake cleaner. Keep in mind that the effects from some of these methods are not permanent, they can wake up and come after you. I think they have different vision than us, and can not see more than about 10-15 feet.

whey I was young I would use a bb gun with a scope on it, this may do slight damage to your house though.

Keep in mind that the cooler it is, the less active they are. Early morning is the best time to fight them.

Yeah I forgot to say about the many carb cleaner cans that went out fighting these.....then you need one for a carb....nata!

Hairspray and a bic lighter works well, but you might need the water and nozzle shortly afterwards ...

Seriously, if you have wood siding or something similar that has gaps at the lower edge, they can build nests inside the walls. I have some in wall now. I am waiting until this winter to deal with them.

throw rock till you piss em off then run away screaming. thats what we did when we were kids. never really got rid of them but was fun to watch the slow kids get stung. when we got rid of them use a pressure washer to knock it down. most people have one for cleaning bikes and cars

got one....but I can't find the friggin nest to support that many wasps....oh well guess Ill piss em off just before the guy next door comes home

Be careful about spraying wasp killer or carb cleaner on your house if you have vinyl siding………..it can warp it. If you wash it off immediately after you kill the wasps, it should be OK………….just don’t leave it on there. I had to replace some pieces of siding around our front door after we sprayed some flying ants that were having a party on the side of our house.

Find where they are then go back at night or early in the morning when the move a tad slower. I use the Fogger type spray for it leaves a foam on the hive so when they come out they crawl through the foam and half the work for me.

lol on the bb gun, used to get so bored some summers I'd sit and shoot bees when they would land under a dripping faucet.

An old method I've used for years. Soap and water. Kills um dead.......

Don't laugh, just try it!

It works and you can load it in a pressure washer to get the 2nd story and it will not damage your home, paint, siding etc.

Ok...guess Ill try the soap and water idea..... won't hurt either way as I will have a clean house with squeeky clean wasps
